This communal AOC, recognised in 1971, extends over 645 hectares. It surrounds the Pouilly-Fuissé with a golden belt. With its slopes facing East and West, it flourishes on ancient land, made of grey marl, limestone and clay.
Colour:
Clear yellow, brilliant and crystalline.
Nose:
Elegant with notes of acacia flower, exotic fruits, intense minerality (flint notes), characteristic of the appellation.
Taste:
Opulent but on the freshness, confirmed by concentrated aromas of peach, lemony citrus and grapefruit.
Food-wine pairings:
Goes with seafood, shellfish and oily fish, but its citrus aromatic register allows for a whimsical pairing with dishes.
