Among the ten Beaujolais vintages, Morgon is one of those who willingly allow themselves a few years of ageing to reveal the subtlety of the schist terroir.
Colour:
Sustained red garnet.
Nose:
Very nice nose of morello cherry with nuances of kirsch, enhanced with aromas of blonde tobacco.
Taste:
Ample and elegant.
Food-wine pairings:
Delicious served with terrines, a 7h leg of lamb, game birds (pheasant, duck) and cheeses.
